Rose Hanan, LMT/NCMT
Rose graduated from the Virginia School of Massage and became Nationally Certified in 2001.
She has been practicing full-time since 2001. She has a full and robust practice and is grateful that her clients include her in their health and wellness routine.
She charges for her time, 30 or 60 minute massages. She uses every tool she has to relieve your discomfort. In any session she will use Myofascial Release, switch into Swedish, find a tight muscle- address it with deep tissue, feel an adhesion- use TP therapy or MAT or Cups or Hot Rocks or all of the above. If she feels that it is needed she will apply an essential oil for stress, pain or inflammation or just because you like the smell of it. She does everything she is capable of to get you feeling as well as possible. She knows that this policy is why she is blessed with a great clientele that truly values everything she does.
Melody, Office Manager
As the office manager, my goal is to make sure all aspects of the day-to-day functions of our office run smoothly and our patients are well taken care of and welcomed into our community of care. I work closely with Rachal to ensure our patients are fully supported and I'm always happy to provide additional patient education, support, encouragement and extra care to help everyone feel comfortable while improving
their health and wellness at our clinic.
I am a native Texan and have lived in Virginia for almost 14 years. My wonderful husband, Todd, and I live in Purcellville and have two grown children, Aaron and Meg, and 2 pups.
I also enjoy my weekend job as a wine educator at a local winery.
I try to live my life according to my favorite quote, "In the end, only kindness matters."
Rachal primarily practices traditional Chinese medicine with an emphasis on organ (zang fu) diagnosis but she also has training in the Balance method and Japanese style, giving her a range of techniques to help even the most sensitive patient. Traditional Chinese medicine not only encompasses acupuncture but many other modalities. Rachal has extensive experience in cupping, gua sha, e-stim, moxabustion, tui na, Chinese herbal medicine and holistic nutrition. Chinese herbals are not only a wonderful compliment to acupuncture for many ailments but can also be a wonderful standalone treatment plan for people that may be worried about needles. Because she understands that most people may be wary of acupuncture needles at first, Rachal tries to make sure each treatment is in a calm and inviting atmosphere. She encourages everyone to take an active part in their healing process, through education as well as empowerment, by giving them health and wellness tips throughout their healing process. Because every patient is unique she will apply varying holistic techniques to help her patients achieve their optimal health and well-being.
